Cake pop favors + wedding cake?

I would love to use cake pops are our favors, but we are also serving wedding cake for dessert. Is this too much cake?

TIA

I would love to get a cake pop favor, even after just having a slice of cake!

Although, I do love cake :)

Nope.  I think that is just fine.

Awesome idea.  I would love both a cake pop and cake, but I too love cake.  I was trying to decide favors and think I'm going to do a smore pop.  you take a giant marshmellow and dip it in melted chocolate then roll on a tray of graham crackers.  let dry, wrap and serve.  I'm thinking this will be much easier than cake pops.  Although I love cake pops.

Are you planning on making them or having someone else do it?

Cool beans! Thanks for the input. :)

I am not planning on making them myself. I found someone local to the Madison area who makes them for $1.25 each. She's on facebook as The Cake Pop Shop. She'll even deliver them for free if it's local. Sounds like an easy, affordable way to go to me.

Any edible favor is the way to go. IMO so bring on the cake pops!

Cake pops are amazing and I would be over the moon if I was given one as a wedding favor (I'd be even happier if I was given one right now :) )

I think its perfectly fine.. Just make sure that guests can take them home if they want to. Because depending how full I am I may take the pop home and eat it the next day (or the car ride home more likely :P) of if Im not full off of dinner and cake I will eat it right there and then.

@Rascal, good point. I really hadn't considered that necessity, but I'll do so now.

    Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
