**stephiehall**

Okay, so I'm intrigued.  Did you graduate almost 20 years ago?

Hee, more than that.  1987.  I was Stephanie Haines back then.

Okay, then I barely missed you.  Was Mrs. Dilday the All-Star director then too?  PS:  93 for me.

I think that's right.  I didn't like her.  When I got injured, I had to transfer out of B-drill to regular PE.  She never said sorry you got hurt, hate to see you go or anything.  She just signed my slip and handed it to me without a word as I stood there on my crutches.  I'll never forget it.

**butting in** So you know that Dilday is still there, right?  But I heard she wasn't near as tough anymore.

**butting in again** Don't feel too bad Stephie... she has ALWAYS had her favorites and wasn't afraid to hide it.

I just googled her and she's still there.  I just remember her yelling at the girls one morning like they were dog poo on her shoe!

Ugh, glad it wasn't just me.  I remember being afraid of her.  But I was very shy back then.  I had the highest kicks in the class though.  Seniors would come and watch me during class.  I still remember the tryout routine to The Cars "Hello Again"--how sick is that?I had to go to school that next Monday and see all the girls with their big stars pinned on--do they still do that?

Oh Julie... I have been on the buisiness end of the dog poo from Dilday.  My parents called her Sergeant Dilday because she treated us more like we were in army boot camp than high school.  (Don't get me wrong- I LOVED drill team.)And Steph- when I was there we couldn't wear stars until we performed.  We dressed up the Monday after we made it though.

When I was there, the girls that made it had huge decorated paper stars that they wore (like homecoming mums) that the seniors made for them.  The stars were HUGE--bigger than they were.
