Soda or no soda poll

Since we are serving tea, lemonade, bottled water, and puch, I hadn't planned on serving sodas but my mom says we should. What do you think?

I think that's plenty. Are you having alcohol? We are serving alcohol (open bar) and all we are having besides that is tea and water.

No alcohol. We don't really drink and we have to pay several hundred $$$ extra just for licensed servers besides the cost of the alcohol. We also don't want the resposibility of someone drinking and driving home or to lose a loved one.

Sounds fine to me without the soda, as there are plenty of other options.

I think most people expect soda.  Especially if there are children attending.

I would see about offering only a few soda options.  For instance Sprite, Coke, and Diet Coke.

I think what you have is plenty.  Thats all we're planning to do as well.  I don't think I've ever gone to a wedding exepecting soda or have seen soda served at weddings that I have been too.

I would provide at least a regular cola and a diet cola.  Soda shouldn't be that expensive, and would give your guests some other options.

Thanks to all that answered. I think we will add soda. I found out that Dollar General has Coke brand 6 packs on clearance for $2.25 each and some have a $0.25 coupon attached to them. That really lowers the cost of adding that to our budget.
