Paying the caterer

I had a friend do all of my catering, she has no license and just does catering for fun for  friends and work functions.  Do I tip her? I am just wondering because right now the entire bill will already go directly to her, so do I need to add more?  Thanks!

I am guessing she is saving you a bit of money over having a licensed caterer, so I would tip her or give her a thank you gift (like a gift card for a massage or something that she would like).

I would tip her or give her a small gift to show my appreciation, BUT as with all vendors you only have to tip if you want too.  There is no rule stating that you are required to tip.
