Whole Foods Cake?

I have seen many great comments about using Whole Foods for a florist but was wondering if anyone has tried the cake from the bakery?
My local Whole Foods just started to do tiered cakes that are pretty inexpensive plus their other desserts look fabulous!

I would imagine the cake quality could vary from store to store. I know that the Harris Teeter where I live has freaking awesome fudge, but the one closer to my parents has gross fudge.

You could always swing by and ask for a sample, or buy a mini cake just to be sure.

Try it out.  I just bought cupcakes from them and was sorely disappointed.  They taste like they were made from a mix and the icing tastes like it was made with shortening.

I would try it.  I had a really good vegan cherry pie from a Whole Foods in DC, and the one that was near me when I lived in NYC had a great bakery.
