Catering Guides

Hello all-

We are planning a BBQ picnic style wedding at a park which will be prepared by dear family and friends. We've done some extensive research on the web but thought I'd do a shout out here for any tips on self catering guides that you may recommend that have been successful in terms of planning, measurments, (we are looking at feeding 150 people) or handy tips... etc. We pretty much have the menu figured out for some amazing easy to make room temprature fresh/seasonal foods. But could always use another analysis or guide.

Thank in advance,

-T

I don't have any recs for a guide but I run a catering company and the best advice I can give you is to be VERY organized and prepared.

It's really easy to underestimate how much food you're going to need. 150 people is a lot, so make sure you don't blindly buy food thinking it will be enough. You also don't want to buy too much food and throw away money.

If you want, PM me your menu and I'll figure out portion sizes and how much you should buy. I do this for a living so feel free to pick my brain. GL
