calculating beverage needed

how did you calculate how much beer and wine you needed? we are expecting around 110 guests for a 5 hour reception. the online calcualors give me varying numbers and most of them seem high to me. if you used and online calcualtor did it seem accurae after your reception?

I agree with the above. 3-4 alcoholic drinks per person over 21. It all evens out. Some only have 2 drinks while others will have 5. And while it's always on your mind to budget, believe me it's better to have too much than not enough.
