Too early to buy candy for candy bar??

hi girls , I got some great deals on Easter candy for my candy bar but I'm wondering if it was too early to buy? My wedding isn't until aug 6th, i wonder if it will go bad?

    In all honesty, I called each candy maker when we were doing DDs candy bar.  They were fantastic about shelf life, proper storage, and how to read the date codes.  I'd give that a try.

    I work in a drugstore, as long as you properly store the candy it can live for almost years, depending on what it is.

    It's not uncommon for us to use Halloween candy all year long for other holidays because we get SO DANG MUCH e.g. bags that aren't specifically marketed for Halloween we'll put on the shelves for Easter/Christmas/etc.
