Hey ladies,
Do any of you know approximately what you'll be paying for a grooms cake? I know it will vary depending on baker, location, and size of the cake, but I need to just get a feel for cost. We are located in Raleigh and looking to have about 55 people at our rehearsal dinner. I know not everyone eats cake so you generally order for less than the total number of guests but other than that I'm clueless. I'm also very crafty and have made several cakes for people, from graduation cakes to bridal shower cakes, so I'm even contimplating making the grooms cake myself... but being the bride making the grooms cake days before the wedding scares me a bit. Thoughts? Input?
