Margaritas?

FI and I are  not big drinkers, but when we do drink, it's got to be a margarita. We both love margaritas. I like Strawberry and Original margaritas, he's original only.

We are having a small reception after our wedding in Maui back home in Baltimore (50 people) and we were thinking of serving various flavored margaritas and red wine only. We would do Strawberry, Pomegranate, and Original Margaritas, and then Red Wine for those who don't want margaritas.

My parents like Margaritas, his parents like wine, and most (if not all) of our friends who drink like margaritas.

The only people I'm not sure about are grandparents and aunts/uncles.

Should we be fine?

if you're only worried about grandparents, aunts, and uncles - you have the wine option and not everyone has to or will want to drink at your reception - just make sure you have water, soda and maybe even tea

It might be nice to offer beer too because some people can't drink sweet things like Margaritas without getting a terrible hangover (or might just be watching their calories).

Yum! DH and I love margaritas too and would love the selection at your wedding. I agree with pp that said maybe offer some beer too. It could just be a half keg of light beer or a case of bottles so the option is there for those who don't want a margarita or wine.

Is there a reason you only want red wine?  For non-regular drinkers who want to splurge at a wedding, white wine is usually a safe bet.  I agree to include some beer, but I also think have a few bottles of white would be nice.  I love red wine, but I rarely drink it as it gives me migraines.

I agree that white wine should be included.

I drink margarita if they're non-flavored and non-sweetened. If they're from a mix, I would be not so happy (sugared drinks make me ill). So it depends on your recipe.
