XP: Program size

I am getting my programs designed to match my invitations.  I am doing a double sided paddle fan.  She wants to know what size they should be and I don't have a good answer.  Can anyone offer input on the measurements they've used for theirs?

    I think mine are a little big but so simplicity we folded a regular size piece (8.5in x 11in) of paper in half... so each side is 8.5in x 5.5in. Again, I think they're a little big but it was the easiest way to do it... so, maybe 7-8 inches by 4-5 inches??

    Wow, this post just triggered me to remember my dream last night. I was making my programs and then realized they were coming out in a rectangular shape, but I had planned them to be square. It was very upsetting. Wow, I'm such a weirdo.

    To answer your question, I am making mine 4x4, but they are booklets, not fans, so that probably doesn't help much.
