entre help!

I am helping my best friend plan her wedding and she is stuck on what two entre to put together. It will be a buffet style but from a really nice caterer so there are TONS of options, which almost makes it harder. She works a lot and the wedding is at the end of April so getting in and doing a few appointments isn't the easiest. Just wanting a few suggestions on two meats u would or did give as options. Not necessarily top of the line expensive either thanks in advance :

Re: entre help!

  • You can't go wrong with a chicken/beef and fish (salmon is a popular choice).  By the way, it's spelled entree not entre.  Also make sure you can provide a vegetarian choice at least by request if not as one of the two standard choices.

  • We did Chicken Cordon Bleu and Salmon for our buffet.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I would say beef, fish and vegitarian option.     As far as preperation, I would have to see some examples of their menu.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • thanks ladies..... I swear I know how to spell entrée, my auto correct changes it and won't let me change it back lol that gives me some things to let her know of what others used for theirs. thanks again :-)

<div>This is what we're doing. We're having a rib eye carving station, Tilapia and a vegetarian ravioli option.</div>
