Cake from Sams Club or Costco?

Has anyone bought their wedding cake from either of these places?  I am looking on their websites and I don't see any prices or pictures of the cakes.

Coscto only makes sheet cakes.  They don't do traditional wedding cake.

We are getting a smallish 2 layered wedding cake to keep the costs down. However, we will be buying 1 or 2 all white decorated sheet cakes from Costco for $16 each, and they will be sliced in the kitchen of our venue & served to the guests. Their cakes are delicious, and they have cream filling choices for the center.

    Good luck.

Had amazing cake from Costco at a Mormon friend's wedding last fall. Tried a few different flavors and they were wonderful. Almost made up for the fact there was no alcohol there... almost.

Thank you ladies!  That price is very appealing to use sheet cake along with a traditional tiered, and I agree they taste wonderful!

Sue- you better make sure that the contract you have with your baker does not include an 'exclusive clause' saying that no other cake except theirs is allowed at the event!    While this tatic saves the bride money, if the sheet cakes purchased elsewhere are of inferior quality, it will reflect poorly on the baker's reputation that made the tier cake, since guests will assume that ALL the cake was made by the same person.

Of course, it can always go the other way too! :o   LOL
