Bride to Groom wedding gift

I need some suggestions for my gift to him on our wedding day.  I've gone shopping in store and online, but I have no idea where to go with the gift.  Thanks for your suggestions!

I got FI a Kenneth Cole watch. I also thought about cuff links he could wear on the wedding day but others told me he would hardly ever get to wear them again, so I canned that. I also considred nice, high end sunglasses because he always buys really cheap junk ones and they always break, but it didn't seem sentimental enough. Some others suggested to me golf rounds and beer of the month club but I wanted something more enduring.

Thanks!  Ya I've thought the same way about the cuff links.  I've thought about doing a watch because he is a watch fanatic, he even has a special watch case. haha  I just didn't know since he already has so many.We are both huge baseball fans, and we're trying to go to all of the ballparks.  We went to Chicago to see Wrigley Field, and while we were up there he proposed on a dinner cruise.  I thought about buying him a small Wrigley Field replica.  From here on out every ballpark we go to I could get him a replica for birthday or Christmas.I just didn't know if a replica of the ballpark was a "wedding" gift.  What do you think?

What about a nice box with coupons that you personalize.  I like the idea though about incorporating the fields.  My sister gave my other sister for her wedding gift a news article about a Rangers game they went to when Sammy Sosa made his record and put their tickets and all into a nice frame.  It was creative so maybe you could do something similar ro that.

KC - my husband and I are also half-way thru baseball stadium tours! We met 3 years ago and have been to 12 so far; it's been really fun. We went to Wrigley back in May - one of the cooler stadiums I've been to! As far as gifts - I got my husband cuff links from James Avery and had them engraved with his initials. He wore them on the wedding day and does wear them quite a bit, but he has to wear a suit to work almost every day, so it made sense. Have you thought about season tickets to a local sports team? My sister bought her husband a TAG watch which he loved. My husband is also a watch fanatic; Lacoste has a really beautiful signature watch, which could be an idea. GL! Btw, my husband is from KC and I went to KU, but am from Ft. Worth.

I got Steve a watch from Zales (that he doesn't even wear!) and I also had boudoir pictures taken of me and made into a book and he got that as a gift as well.  He LOVES that.

I think whatever is personal is a good wedding gift, it doesn't have to be something formal. I bought DH a banner with our college name and class year on it. He'd always wanted one, but it seemed silly to normally spend $80 on a piece of cloth :) But the wedding was a good excuse for that and he loved it.

I was going to buy FI a class ring from his college because he really wanted one but wouldn't buy it for himself.  Now I don't think we are even going to do gifts but I have buttons on the back of my dress that will require a crotchet hook so I was thinking about giving that to him as a gift!

Thanks for the tips!   It gave me some ideas to go with.  As far as season tickets the KC sports teams aren't that great haha.  We will probably be up in KC for the next 3-7 years depending on if I do my residency here.I contacted my photographer to see about taking some "For His Eyes Only" photos while I'm home in December for Christmas break.  Maybe I'll do that.

I was thinking about getting him a video camera since I'm the one always taking the pictures and he feels left out, but I'm not sure we're going to do gifts at all

I was going to get him an ipod with more storage and have it engraved with a message and the date, but his sister gave him her old one. So now I don't know.

My fi is getting me a new laptop (we're not good secret keepers) and I'm still trying to decide what to get him. He LOVES the Eagles so I'm thinking I might buy plane tickets for us to go up there and tickets to a game...
