cake as only dessert?

Is it acceptable to have the wedding cake as the only dessert at our afternoon reception?

I was thinking of doing something edible (choc covered pretzels maybe) as favors if that makes a difference...

yep it is plenty, thats all I am having I cant afford to do anything more than that. And if people dont like it sorry but its your wedding and they arent the ones that paid for it
