Slightly changed menu and timeline, please let me know what you think.

Ok, I have changed my menu a little and I am not sure it's enough(i think so but I'm just scared of people going home hungry). My sisters think it's fine. It is almost the same amount of food but sightly less selection at the late night tables. I think it's lots but I need opinions outside of my family.

4pm Ceremony then we leave the room and go directly into the cocktail time, probably 4:40 pm or so, hors d'ouevres (5 types hot) and bar opens (stays open all night)

6pm dinner
Rolls, flatbread, focaccia laid on tables
1st Caesar Salad
2nd Pasta (Cheese/meat canneloni in rose sauce w/parmesan cheese & peppers)
3rd Veggies(peppers/mushrooms) Roast potatoes w/rosemary 8oz chicken breast stuffed with asiago cheese and spinach
4th Chocolate cake w/strawberry coulis or chocolate caramel cluster or creme brulee (still deciding)

11pm fresh fruit station, pizza station (assorted types), fresh belgian waffles (made right then) with ice cream and berry sauce or chocolate sauce, my  homemade cookies and brownies and our wedding cake (which is two cakes red velvet and he hasn't picked the other one)

I scheduled no waiting in between ceremony, cocktails, and then right into dinner and dancing. I know big gaps aren't preferred but is no gap ok? Pictures are early so we'll have that done first.

Food enough? or filling enough?

I think that it will be plenty. It's a really nice menu!

Thanks, it's nice to have someone's opinion.

I don't have anyone is real life to go over this stuff with. A few girls at work but they aren't in for a while. (several weeks) So, it's me, my FI and the internet for the most part.

I think it will be plenty and I think that your menu sounds tasty.  I will say that one thing that jumped out at me--do you have any vegetarians?  I am not a huge meat eater and would be kind of bummed to get a pasta that had meat in it.  If you know that all your guests would be fine with the meat in your pasta dish, go for it!  If not, it might be nice to see if they can do a marinara or leave the meat out?  Just a thought.

Thanks, yes I actually forgot to mention that. We have one vegetarian so she will have special meals for the affected courses. The only other issues were beef so we went with chicken. Thanks for looking out for me. :)

    Thanks so much!

I am so excited now that I have real opinions on things! I don't know what I would do without this site.

How did you think that it wouldn't be enough? :) It sounds amazing and I would eat ALL of it!

My family is filled with really big eaters, (and some bigger people) Most times everyone goes out to eat after a wedding even when I have felt there was enoug food.

I really like buffets because you can go up as many times as you like and get full but with this it's a one time thing so that scares me.

When we settled on this my dad seemed like he thought it could be more food but then he denied it after. We would have had more but it wasn't in the budget so we couldn't add it.

It makes me feel better to have opinions so I won't worry so much.

love the pizza station and the 2nd round of cake late night.  seriously blush if anybody goes home hungry from your party they have mental and emotional problems. :)  that's an awesome menu.

i wish i had advice about the timeline but i haven't finished ours yet.  "no gap" is great though.

    good job!
