MY cake

I'm a type 1 diabetic, can my wedding cake be made with a sugae substiute so I can actually eat it? I dont want to have to reveal to my guests that the cake is healthy and wonderful tasting?

Re: MY cake

  • Talk to your baker about this.  Maybe they can accommodate you by making one of the smaller layers with a sugar substitute.

  • If you choose to make this substitution please let you guests know. I am allergic to some artificial sweeteners (not an uncommon allergy) If I ate the cake not knowing I'd be too sick to drive home.

I agree. You definitely deserve cake at your wedding... but so do all of your guests.
