Burger selections for wedding dinner? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister is getting married in November and she loved my catering at my wedding this past August (Taco truck/catering company that did custom tacos with five different fillings plus loads of toppings/condiments).

Therefore she has decided she wants burgers or sliders served at her nuptials. We've contacted a few companies and we want to do a few options so her guests have choices depending on their palates or food sensitivites.

Please help us by picking one (or more) of these options that you would eat.

We will definitely have beef, turkey, and veggie burgers plus a chicken breast patty.

I voted for Classic, but if there had been a mushroom and Swiss option,  I would have picked that one, too.  I would love avocado as a topping option, too ... but somehow not when combined with American cheese.

You didn't ask this specifically, but I personally would prefer sliders so that I could try several different flavors /  topping combination.

I like a make your own burger bar. I attended a wedding that had one before it was great.  They had  beef, chicken, mahi and veggie burgers.

Toppings to choose from:

lettuce
tomato
mayo
mustard
Ketchup
BBQ
raw onions
grilled onions
peppers
mushrooms
pickels
pineapple
Swiss
Cheddar
Blue
Pepper Jack

I think there were a few more options.  What made it great that people are pretty picky about their burgers.  I hate onions and peppers, someone else hates blue cheese, and someone else hates mustard.   This way they get to pick what they want.


ETA - they had bacon and American cheese also.

Onion strings and bbq sauce on a burger - doesn't get any better than that.  Please tell me though that this is not a formal wedding that she is hosting.  If I came dressed to the nines and had to pass on this burger because of the mess, I would not be a happy camper.

I voted classic but would prefer build your own. There isn't anything listed that I wouldn't be asking for something left off.

I don't like any of those options. When I eat a burger, I eat it with either nothing or just cheese b/c I am ridiculously picky and don't like a lot of things, even "standard" things that most people like, so I would prefer a make- your -own.

This.  I like my burger with ketchup.  That is it.  So none of your options would work for me.  I would just do a make your own burger bar with a crap load of topping options.

I would probably eat one of each!! They all sound delicious to me!!!! I love burgers and love lots of different toppings on my burgers! I agree with PP though about doing a choose your own toppings, that will make it most appealing to all guests! And then maybe you could have a large board with some combination ideas like the choices you gave us and give them fun names for guests that would prefer some ideas for options!!
