my wedding is next weekend and we are sooo stoked!
it will be an outdoor poolside wedding at our beachhouse on the bay.
we are doing all of the food ourselves. for the day of, we've hired help to help set up and keep the food refreshed.
we'll have two food stations (one surf and one turf)..
here is the menu:
surf food station:
seafood gumbo (2 gallons),
a whole smoked salmon with crackers and cream cheese selection,
boiled shrimp
turf food station:
sliced roasted beef tenderloin with tea biscuit selection
oven roasted veggies on skewers (squash, carrots, zuchini, onion, mushroom)
oven roasted red potatoes
homemade mac and cheese
i was wanting to have some sort of chicken skewer, but i'm not sure if there will be a grill available for us to grill them...and the more i think about it, the more i'm thinking that maybe the menu without the chicken skewers would be enough for the reception.
we've invited 140 people and about half have rsvp'd.
what do you guys think?? is the menu variety large enough without the chicken skewers?
our dessert table will have our wedding cupcakes...and i''m trying to pull a cute candy table together too.
