CANDY BUFFET QUESTION

For all of you that have done or is going to do a candy buffet did you use a website to buy your candy or just shopped at a local grocery store?? If you used a website please list the link for me. Any more advice on having a successful candy buffet would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I am thinking of doing a candy buffet, and I will be purchasing my candy from a local store, mainly for freshness.  If you order from a website, you never know til you get the merchandise how long it has been on the shelf.  I always check expire dates on candy before I buy - just a thought.

Same here.  I will be getting 'staple' candies (M&Ms, twizzlers, salt water taffy, etc.) from Cosco or Sam's and then specialty candies from local shops in the area a couple days before the wedding.
