Band and Dj for multicultural wedding (plus mariachis)

Recommendations on any Mexican/Latin band that plays all kinds of music ranging from salsa to regional mexican music. The dj will need to play all types of music like hip hop, r&b, pop, rock & roll, 70s, 80s,  90s, latin/mexican, and anything else that one can think of. We have a very diverse family and group of friends.

Also a good mariachi band during the reception.

    I might be able to get you contact info for a mariachi band (have to email an old Asst. Principal and hope he's not on vacation).  As for your diverse band, you might check the vendor sticky at the top, although I don't know how many knotties have used bands.

    I am no help on the bands, but as for DJ, there are several people here will vouch for:

    LeForce Entertainment/Glenn Roush
    Melody and Memories
    Figment
    JaBel

    You might try the local colleges and see if they have a mariachi band.  I went to college at Texas Tech and they had a mariachi band.  If you can't find one, you might see if the Tech mariachi band will travel - they're pretty good.

    My mom is getting a Mariachi Band for our Rehearsal Dinner. We use them at the restaurant frequently. I'll get the names from her and PM you. Give me a couple of days!

    There is a mariachis band that plays at El Ranchito on W Jefferson that is really good. I bet if you call them they will be able to get you in contact with the band... El Ranchitos # is 214-926-4238


    Also I have been at a wedding were Melody with Melmemdj.com has done a variety of both latin and american music... she did a great job!

    My mom said Mariachi Ayende (not sure if that is the correct spelling) is really good. She did say it is hard to book them on Fridays though because they have so many steady gigs. I also found this list!
