inexpensive photographer?

Hey!

I just got engaged in May and we just moved out to Virginia from Illinois and I was hoping to find a chea/ free engagement photo session. Personally I would love to have a photography student take them (I know doing that stuff is a big help to them) and since I am new here I know no one or not much about the area. Please help!!

    I am using KCShutterbug for our photos (<a href="http://www.kcshutterbug.com/">www.kcshutterbug.com</a>) She is super cheap ($25/hr for engament shoots) I have also just started in the photography business...good luck on finding someone! :)

    That is awesome! Thank you so much! What is the format that she gives you pictues ( I seriously know nothing about anything when a wedding is involved) does she give them to you on cd?

    Have you done any engagement pictures yet?

    I am using Julia Mayhew (you can find her on Facebook J.Mayhew Photography) She is based out of Danville, VA and is just getting started out. She is doing our engagement shoot next Saturday. I can email you the price quote she sent me if you would like to see it (lrshankins@yahoo.com)

    It's not located in VA Beach, but they can travel there. We are using Treasured Images Photography.

    They start at $600 for The Petite Collection.
    Includes:
    3 hours of coverage.
    DVD of all color corrected printable images in large jpg format.
    Written Copyright permission.

    Additional hours: $200/hr.

    I'm using http://www.shawnfemiaphotography.net she did my sister's wedding last summer in Virginia Beach and the photos are amazing!  Sounds like she fits your requirements.

    Check out Andrew Tawes at http://www.andrewtawes.com/ He provides all day coverage and photo rights (no prints or anything). He will be photographing our wedding in Nov. Just got back our engagement photos and they are wonderful. We are on a small budget and he was priced well compared to other VA Beach photographers with the same quality of work.
