How to clean scuff mark off dress?

Hey ladies!
I had my bridal portraits last week.  We tried our very best to be careful with dirtying the dress but of course there are a few black scuff marks on my dress.

I don't want to take it to the cleaners to get professionally clean.  IMO it is too expensive when I know it is going to get dirty again at the wedding.

Has anyone gotten marks off of their dress before?  I have googled this question but would much rather go with a way someone has actually done and had success with. It is a satin dress.

Thanks!!

white wet towel with a tiny bit of shout. Make sure your dress isn't pure silk though.

This is why I've opted for no bridals! lol It terrifies me! I was never one of those kids (or adults) to wear a solid white shirt, shorts, pants, etc and NOT get anything on it!! My photographer has opted to do mini-bridals for me on the day of for free though after I explained my fears. So, I'm going that route! I hope you get it out!

</div><div>I completely agree!! I did NOT want to do them either.  BUT, my mom (who is paying for the photographer) insisted I get them because she has my sisters' bridal portraits hanging in the house.  It was not a battle I was willing to fight with her! :)</div>
