Affordable rustic wedding in NOVA

I'm just starting my venue search and cannot believe how costly venues can be!  I want to have an outdoor, fall wedding in NOVA, but at a reasonable/affordable price.  Any suggestions???

I'm having mine at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. It's in Winchester, VA (about 1.25 hours from Fairfax). I'm only having my ceremony there....$1,500 for that

We're getting married in Herndon, VA just off of Dranesville at the http://www.coomberperformingartscenter.com/

For 3500 dollars you can easily fit 250 guests sitting either inside or outside AND you can pick your own caterer. 

So far we are paying 6000 for catering and venue. I believe that this is quite unique if I have to believe the Knot.
