Hotel Wedding Package??

We are leaning heavily towards a hotel wedding package. They include a lot but depending on the hotel, can be very pricey. Anybody else doing a hotel wedding package?? What do yu think of it??

It really depends on the hotel and the package they offer you.

Generally, it seems like what you get out of package deals like this is convenience -- it's a one-stop-shop for food, rentals, sometimes even flowers.   Sometimes this will limit your choices, and you will probably pay a little bit extra for the convenience, but it would definitely be easier to plan.    The downside is that you may end up with the same cookie-cutter wedding package that some other bride had the week before you, the week after you, or even one ballroom over on the same night as your wedding.  

If you're planning from afar, or don't have a lot of time to plan, this could be a good option.  And depending on the package, it might be more cost-effective (you would have to do some serious comparison-shopping).
