Just wanted to share (again) that our ceremony site it great! We are hosting our ceremony at Flora Point at the Va. Zoo (funny, right?). The location is in the zoo's gardens away from the animals.
The staff (Kristine Marlow) is amazing and their attention to detail, concern for your event and care is outstanding. There hasn't been a single question they couldn't answer.
The site is beautiful, and currently being updated with more floral and planters. IIt backs up to the river, with a high rotunda for the ceremony and beautiful flowering trees for shade. It really is pretty.
Just wanted to put it out there in case someone is looking for a ceremony site outside - but not on the beach. ((and maybe can't swing $2000+ for the botanical gardens).
