and we have a new moderator!!  Congrats Brianna.  The board was very busy yesterday and I"m sad I missed it.  We have stickies at the top (good organization).  Awesome.

I just started with looking for a venue I would like to get married at and went from there.  Once you have a set date and venue you can kind of work around that and book things accordingly.  No worries...you have plenty of time! :)

FutureAmberBoyd - I agree with Lacy, but the very very first thing to do is to set a budget and a head count. Then venue. Then whatever your next priorities are (ours were photography, food, and DJ). Use The Knot's checklist to help you take one thing at a time. Good luck!

Lacy - I feel the same way. I was in graduate school, and as soon as that ended I jumped into wedding planning. What will I do with myself once the wedding is over?

This weekend I think we're going to visit our new favorite Saturday night spot, Viper Lounge. No cover, great crowd, AWESOME house music. Love it!
