Barn wedding venues Hampton Roads

We live in Norfolk but I would like to find a barn with some land to have the ceremony outside and the reception in the barn somewhere in the area or at least within a 60 minute drive.   I'm not sure even where to start looking anyone have any ideas?

Hello!

Check with local vineyards. At least many of the ones in central VA seem to have them.

Have you also looked at what many large estates/plantations call their "Carriage House?" I've found some are finished like the interior of a house, and some are basically barns (although I'm looking Fredericksburg & Leesburg, not HR).

The Freight Shed looks really nice because it's also on the water- but there isn't a ton of land around it if you're looking for land.

It's beautiful but when I looked in July it was already booked practically every Saturday from March 2011 until November of 2011!
