DJs in Toledo area??

Hi ladies! My wedding is June 5th 2010 and we finally decided on having a DJ instead of a live band. I am thinking I need to crack down on finding one, but there are no bridal shows scheduled in our area until the fall. I would like to meet them in person and get a feel for their personalities, because I've been to a bunch of weddings where the DJ was just awful and practically ruined the whole reception. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations about finding a GREAT DJ?? Or companies I should avoid? I need some help!! Thanks :O)

    Me neither...$900?????  WTF????  My friend used Decorative Sounds and Mike promised and promised her he would be her DJ, well.......he sent a different dude, they didn't play anything from her play list and hacked her wedding parties last names during the introduction.  But if you want to pay $900 when there are other just as good for half the price, go for it!

    I am getting married in March and had no probolem finding a DJ.  They basically have one guy normally do it and he is AWESOME! Such a good personality, he talks at the right time and knows when to shut up..haha. He is great. The company is called S&G SOUnds. They are affordable as well. That company did my brother and sisters wedding and I wouldnt even think to look elsewhere!  His name is Mike and the phone number is 419-471-9604. Have fun planning!!
