PSA: complaints

More and more I'm seeing people on here being more open with their complaints regarding vendors.  While I'm sure that everyone appreciates the heads up on poor service in the past when there's been issues (besides the occasional vent during the planning process) people have been more likely to say, "I have info on this vendor, if you want to know more please email me"...  I can also say for a fact that several vendors lurk here.  They don't post because they do know that it's against the rules (at least the ones that possess a bit of common sense) but they do indeed lurk here.  My advice would be if you have a complaint, take it directly to the vendor first and if it's not resolved, go through the proper channels (i.e. BBB to lodge a complaint) and if someone else on here is asking for info regarding a vendor, have them email you.  The reason for the advice?  First of all, if you're not through with utilizing your vendor's services and they see you posting negatively about them, you may very well have to find yourself a new vendor.Secondly, if you post downright nasty comments on here...who's to say they won't sue you for slander or something else along those lines?Think before you post.

Brandy- I don't think you were ripping anyone a new one.... I just think you (meaning people in general) have to take the good with the bad (in regards to vendor).  It's all a part of doing business.Like I said, it's just my opinion.  No hard feelings.
