Same -- First dance, Father/Daughter and Mother/Son.  Oh, and the dollar dance.

We did some song dedications and special requests and stuff too, but those weren't official dances. :)

We're just planning on a first dance for us.

No other "specials."  My great-aunt who is almost 80 is seriously mad at us for not wanting to do the dollar dance.  We've had several discussions about this and I get glared at every time!  (She's dropped f-bombs at me over this!)

So I'm preparing that my family will end up starting a dollar dance.

First Dance, father/daughter, possibly mother/son (FI still undecided).

I'm also doing an anniversary dance: All the people who are married get on the floor, the DJ calls out different time frames and people sit down when their time frame is called (For instance, he'd call out, "Less than 5 hours!" And me and my new hubby would have to sit down haha) . Whomever is left standing will get a prize!!

I might do a dollar dance and a maybe a polka for fun.

First dance for sure. I don't think my dad will want to do father/daughter and I'm not sure if FI wants to do mother/son. I'm (more or less) opposed to the dollar dance at this point, but if it ends up being really important to FI we'll probably do it.

I didn't do a dollar dance because I didn't want the awkwardness of making one on one small talk with people. (I've never been a social butterfly!)  We had multiple guests tell us that they brought money just for that.  Our DJ told us as the end of the night that she had people come up and ask her to add it in and "surprise" us.  People get weird about dollar dances and I just don't get the appeal!

First dance, Father/Daughter...I think FMIL wants a Mother/Son, but hasn't talked to FI about it and also...I guess she has the song picked out, but refuses to tell me because she wants it to be a surprise...it will be a surprise if the DJ doesn't have it!

*sighs* I'm being forced to do a Dollar Dance...stupid FI. I informed my sister she's to jump in at any point that I'm standing there alone.

FI also wants to have our bridal party do a dance. Originally he wanted to do Thriller (don't know why, he's not a Michael Jackson fan), but I told him that was fine, but he was teaching it to the party (every time he gets a bright idea, it doesn't work out unless I put all the work into it and I wasn't willing). Now he's talking about having them do the Time Wrap from Rocky Horror. I would be ok with this since #1 the dance steps are in the lyrics and #2 We went to see Live Action Rocky Horror on our second date.

We are having our first dance (Lindy hop!!), father/daughter, and  mother/son.  We are also doing a dollar dance as part of a deal between FI and me.  I was opposed, but not as much as a bouquet and garter toss, so we traded.  I'm giving my bouquet to my great grandma who is turning 98 on Monday instead!  We will also do a polka for FI's family.  So many dances...
