Well yesterday was probably one of the worst in a long time. Our firm got called into an emergency meeting yesterday to tell us that our founder and namesake of our 30+ year old company received a terminal cancer diagnosis and was retiring immediately to "knock some things off his bucket list." It was so awful, everyone was crying. The only CPA ever to retire on April 3, I presume.

We're glad that he's getting out and enjoying himself and his grandchildren but it was like a punch to the gut on a personal level, and (selfishly) on a professional level, which is going to make the next 2 weeks pretty hectic.
Oh, and then we had to be evacuated twice for the tornadoes.
