I fear that this board is dying and I want to try to bring it back!  Many other boards post a question of the day for everyone to answer.  Some are just for fun, others are helpful and informative.  Let's see how this goes!

    We had our reception at Bayside Boardwalk in Oregon.  Great experience and value!

    We are also at the zoo.  Sarah...are you guys doing the tent pavillion or the african lodge?

    Our wedding reception is going to be at the Toledo HIlton on Glendale Ave.

    Not sure if anyone will be coming back to this post, but I am recently engaged and don't have a repetion site yet.  We are going ot look at the Hilton next week and see if we like it.

    Carly...we are also having our reception at the Sullivan Center.  How has the woman who rents the place been with you?  She has been nothing but snotty and rude with us I feel.  If there wasn't already a deposit on that place, I would switch my reception site.

    She hasn't been that accommodating with us either.  We live in Cleveland and have jobs so we can't be there when she is.  She wasn't willing to come in on a Sunday when she is already there for church to at least show us the hall.  My parents went and booked it.  We are on a budget and just could afford the other big halls.  Plus we are having a big band and swing dancing so we needed the huge dance floor that they have built in.  So hopefully it all works out.

    Carly....that is one good thing about that place is that they have a HUGE dance floor so swing dancing in there will be awesome!!  I'm not that unsatisfied with the place it's self as it is fairly nice, I'm just super irritated with the woman running it.  I'm so glad that I'm not the only one having problems though...although I wish none of us were having issues!!  My fiance and I we were in town over New Year's and we went to go look at it and I had a camera along with me and I wanted to take pictures as it's not a hop, skip and a jump for me to go look at the place (as we are in Harrisburg, PA) to see how I want to decorate it and she wouldn't even really let me take pictures.  She told me that there are plenty of pictures online and in the brochure of it UGH!  Then later in the conversation she said well you are all calm now but just wait till it gets here and you will be freaking out then and I was thinking yeah...because of YOU! lol I hope all goes well for you though and everything works out!
