J Ben Hartley Photog - Anyone use?

Hey ladies,

Has anyone used J Ben Hartley Photography or heard anything about them? They're out of Bowling Green. I'm impressed by their online portfolio, but I can't find any reviews about them online. Thank you!

Well I was supposed to meet with him and his wife tonight.  30 minutes before we were supposed to meet (and me and my fiance were already on our way) he called saying "I never asked your wedding date" so I told him and turns out he was already booked.  Keep in mind we've exchanged a few emails for a few weeks now.  I decided to check the emails to see if we really hadn't discussed the date yet and clear as day it says "Wedding 10/13/12"

Yeah, can't say I'm a fan at the moment.  Maybe this is a one time goof, but made me wonder how organized they can be.

How did you hear about them? I picked up a card at the "I Do at the Zoo" event.

I met them at the same event, hadn't heard of them prior to it.

I would be mad that you already left! I think that is not so great. I googled the website I do like the pictures though. But I think we are going to go with Gage Blake Photography they have specials and really great prices. Do you know what packages he offers? I do like to still look at what all is being offered.

Ben and Leslie are doing my wedding pictures and I could not be more excited. When I met with them it was like we were life long friends. They made me feel so comfortable and confident that I made the right choice. They treat their clients like family and try their best to make you feel important.
I chose them because I was at a wedding they were photographing and they seemed to use a much more artist approach to capturing the moments than I have seen in other photographers.
