I know you tend to save everyone's reviews, so I wanted to see if you have any for the following places: The Milestone, Stonegate Mansion, Ashton Gardens and Aristide Event and Conference Center


I am helping a friends sister plan for June 2013 - 300ppl and those are what she's narrowed down to. I told her to be careful with the all-inclusive options like the Milestone cause it sounds like they told her it would be $10000 total for all 300, which seems low and that they may spring hidden costs on her come contract time...

She can look at reviews of the places on Wedding Wire as well.  I know Ashton Gardens is a wedding factory and they can have up to 4 weddings there in a day.  That's something to consider.  I don't know much about the others.

FWIW-I had my bridals done at Aristide, and it's freaking gorgeous, and have thought of everything in terms of the set-up/design/lay-out of the place. That said, it's obviously not the same as having had my wedding there!! ;-)

Ok I will look (my reviews are at work) but don't know that I have any on those as they are fairly new. Dana on TN's sister is using Milestone but I can't remember when her wedding is. I'm out on AG now that I know they do multiple weddings--that would be a deal breaker for me and yeah 10k for 300 sounds very low (although at $33pp not unheard of I guess).

And although I'm not a fan of most all inclusive places, I have to say those are all esthetically lovely choices.

(She's not having an outdoor ceremony in June is she? )

Something for her to keep in mind at the Artiside (She may know this already though) is that they require you to take out 1M dollar insurance policy on their property in case anything happens on your wedding day. That was the main reason that I scratched them off my list.

Stongate will not comfortably hold 300 people. It used to be a house, so there are a bunch of rooms plus the ballrom (which used to be the indoor pool), but I feel like 150, maybe up to 200 is comfortable there.

Yeah I think it says on their website "up to 300" which I always take with a grain of salt.

As I suspected, I don't have anything on those venues.  But you can page Dana on TN for info on Milestone because I know her sister is getting married there.
