My mom and I (FI wasn't here and didn't want to help) chose the songs for the reception. Which songs did you use?

"We" chose:

Cake cutting - Yummy, yummy, yummy - Ohio Express
Bouquet toss - You sexy thing - Hot Chocolate
Garter toss - Another one bites the dust - Queen

Omg less than 2 weeks for you!!! YAY!  Your songs are great! We don't have all of our songs yet, but what we do have is the following:

Bridal party entrance: The Only Exception-piano version- by Paramore
Wedding party entrance into reception: Howlin' For You by the Black Keys
First dance: Steady As We Go by Dave Matthews Band

Still have a lot to figure out music wise but I'm happy with what we agreed on so far. Probably because he actually agreed. lol

Thanks guys! The nerves are really starting to set in & I seem to have lost my mind. I've just been doing really goofy things that if I was thinking straight wouldn't have been a problem. I'll def. be posting more in the next week-ish as I get more and more done :-)

Father/Daughter Dance - Cinderella - Steven Curtis Chapman
Mother/Son Dance - ??? (If you guys have any suggestions, that'd be great... especially if they're classic rock)
Cake Cutting - Dueces are Wild - Aerosmith
Bouquet Toss - Hey Soul Sister - Train
Garter Toss - Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap) - AC/DC

Ok, I just had to tell you, my FI LOVES AC/DC! I took him to see them when they were at the Palace a couple years ago. I told him about the AC/DC songs you were using and said I thought it was so cool, and he has now taken over the wedding music selecting! hahaha He is insisting that we use a couple of his favorites during some point at the reception! He even said he wanted me to walk down the aisle to shook me all night long! I had to 86 that idea but I love the fact that he is now excited to pick out music! So, thank you for that! lol
