Wedding Officiant

My fiance and I are looking for someone to marry us, and at a reasonable price on October 2, 2010.  I have found a few names and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about or knew someone who got married by either Susan Spackey or Joyce Kachenmeister?  Any info would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

    Don't know personally...but I've heard Joyce is pricey.  My DOC is also an officiant and I've been to one of the weddings she did...she does a beautiful job!

    Joyce did give me a price of $195....which I didn't think that was bad at all.  I've gotten a few quotes and the most was $455...there is no way I'm paying someone almost $500 to marry us...that's just absurd I think!!

    I agree!!! $455.00 is crazy!!!  (Unless they jump out of a plane and come dressed like Elvis.)

    That's not a bad price for Joyce...like I said, I had just heard through the grapevine.

    We are having Joyce as our officiant and we are paying $175 for her services. Includes ceremony and rehersal.  We put a $25 deposit down. I thought that was a very reasonable price compared to some of the others in the area! And she is willing to perform a ceremony that fits us.

    I just booked her...I heard amazing things about her. She came to our house for the appointment and she is great!!! You can build your own ceremony with the stuff she gives you (which most people make you do what they want for YOUR wedding), but not Joyce, she gives you freedom to do what you want. She is very budget friendly!!! Hugs!!!
