Bridal Gown Shopping

Although I am getting married in Iowa, I live in DFW and have been shopping for my dress. I've only lived here for a little over a year so I'm not overly familiar with all of the bridal shops. I have looked for dresses at Bridal Boutique in Lewisville and Classy Concepts in Mansfield. I've found a couple dress that I like but haven't had the "this is the one" moment. I'm on a $1,500 budget for the gown. Any suggestions on boutiques are much appreciated!

I bought mine at Emma's Bridal in Red Oak

You'll probably get more responses on Monday, but check out Bridal Co in Denton and Anonymously Yours (I'm not sure where that is)

There is Bridal Blossom in Dallas.

There are a few girls here who have bought their dresses or gone there recently and they seemed to be happy with it.

I bought my dress from David's so I'm not much help.

This list has a bunch of places you could check out: http://dfwvendorlist.yolasite.com/dresses.php

My two cents -- I loved Circle Park Bridal. It felt like a cozy little boutique and everyone there was really nice. Also, the same dress I bought here for $630 was something like $900 at Lewisville Bridal Boutique.

I also went to Bridal Co in Denton and their selection was good and their prices were the absolute best. But, it's not as "full service" as most other bridal places -- probably why they can have such great prices.

I haven't bought my dress yet, but I liked Lasting Bridal Couture in Addison.

One note about dress shopping: careful with the sales people. Some (not all) are like used car sales people. Will lie to your face.

I bought my dress at Mockingbird Bridal and absolutely loved my experience.  I worked with Maggie, and she was awesome.  I just don't recommend their alterations lady.  I'm sure she's brilliant, but she is really rude.

I bought mine at Alfred Angelo at Firewheel, but I also went to Circle Park Bridal in Addison.  Both stores were great and IMO, both had great customer service.  I went to CPB on a very busy Saturday, so it did feel a bit claustrophobic in there, but I think if you went on a weekday it wouldn't be that way.  Despite being so busy, they were really accomodating and helpful.  Their prices were also competitive.

I went to A Bridal Blossom on Lovers near Inwood and loved the service, loved the selection, and LOVED my dress.  Nancy is the sweetest and you will really enjoy an experience there.

I used Lasting Bridal Couture in Addison & loved them! They have a ton of choices for under $1,000.

I thought I had heard that Bridal Co closed? Or did I dream that?

I think they had a flood, but they're supposed to reopen.  The thread was about a girl who hadn't heard anything from them and was freaking out.
