Has anyone been here?  My fiance has been to a wedding there and said it's beautiful.  I got the pricing information yesterday and it seems very reasonable.  I can't wait to see it on Wednesday!

We went there to look at it and didnt really care for it. I think it would look nicer all done up. If I recall it was upstairs, which would not have been convenient for us. they dont have a dance floor so it needs to be brought in and laid down(but they do this for you)
I edited this because I agree with cshuma. There are not a lot of hotels nearby and that was also an issue for us. Im not farmiliar with many churches in the area either and it is kind of in the middle of no where..sorry if you're from swanton. I just mean it may be dark and OOT guest may get lost coming back or something.

I grew up just a few miles south of Swanton, so I am fairly familiar with the area.  My first thought was about the fact that there are not any hotels nearby.  Are the closest ones going to be the Spring Meadows area?  If you have a lot of OOT guests, this won't be very convenient for them.

Are you planning to have your ceremony in the Swanton area too?  Just wondering.

I haven't seen the inside of the club, so I cannot help you there.  However, if you do end up liking it, I would definitely still book it.  I just wanted to point out something that you may or may not have considered.

Yeah, the hotel issue is already one we were discussing as a major downside.  I'm originally from NY and almost everyone on my side is still on the east coast.  I decided if we did book there, we would absolutely have to budget for a shuttle to take everyone there and back.  My fiance is from the Holland area and I currently live in Perrysburg so I didn't even know it existed.  I'm a little less excited after reading your responses, which is actually a good thing.  I got too excited on the pricing, I needed a reality check.

Maumee isn't ridiculously far, if we were able to provide transportation.  The location is more ideal for his side which is alot of the Holland-ish area.

Oh and we haven't a clue where we're doing the reception yet.

Oops I definitely meant ceremony in my last post.

After seeing the inside, I didn't like it.  I don't like the layout.  I feel like people on the ends of the room wouldn't see what's going on as well (it's a bit of an L shape.)  I also don't like how they say they have to use plastic cups for beer because they don't want people breaking glass outside.  Seems silly to use glass for some, plastic for others.
