Funny/odd gift

Got an interesting gift tonight from H's family.  It was a blanket, in the colors of maroon, lime green, and bright orange.  Yeah.  The card that came with it was even better- it had 2 fish on it, dressed as a bride & groom, kissing.  I can't help but laugh at this gift- it's just so darn funny!  I've never looked at fish and thought "oh love".  It was thoughtful of them to send us something, but the whole thing just makes me giggle.  Maybe b/c I've never met them, so I can't put it into context.  So, what's the funniest/oddest gift you've received??

    Are they big fishing people?  Kinda sounds like it! 

    Oddest gift we recieved was from my aunt who is from Germany.  She was unable to come to the wedding because of visiting her family back in Germany at the same time...but we laughed when we opened her gift.  (She's kind of quirky anyways.)

    There was a box with several little trinket things in it.  One was a holiday ornament of kittens in a stocking.  (Keep in mind we were married in July, no where near the holidays. We have no cats, Matt's highly allergic. It wasn't a "Our first holiday" or anything like that. Just cats in a sock.)

    Another was a small teacup saucer with a hummel print on it. No cup...just the saucer.

    There were afew more odds and ends...but those were the 2 that really stumped us.

    Nyrek- you take the cake on that one!  I would love to see pics of that.

    By the way- the blanket reeked of cigarette smoke- I'm wondering if they just wrapped up an old blanket they had laying around the house. It looks old, but I'm going to find out if she made it herself.
