So... H and I are now married!!! Yay!! It's even better than I could have imagined. He took me on a surprise honeymoon (I didn't know where we were going) to Port Clinton. We had a wonderful time enjoying Cedar Point, Lake Erie's islands, and the various touristy things around the area. We returned to my parents' house in Perrysburg on Friday. Saturday, we loaded up a trailer with all of our stuff that was there. H and I left for Athens, OH, our new abode, that afternoon. My parents showed up on Sunday along with my brother and the foreign exchange student who is staying with them.
Now, we're in the process of unpacking. It's sooo chaotic. Luckily, though, the kitchen is pretty much done. The living room/office is such a mess, though. It's the biggest room in the house, so it's where I've been leaving flattened boxes, packing materials, etc.
In the next couple of days, I'm going to start the process of officially changing my name (exciting!!). That's been a hassle because we don't have a printer. Luckily, though, H is a grad student at OU, so we went to their library to print out some forms (and stuff for job applications!)
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we settle in to married life here in Athens! We're both looking for part-time jobs, H started school on Monday, and I start seminary in the fall. I really look forward to hanging around the forum to help out other people!
