Dance lessons?

Did anyone take any dance lessons before the wedding?  If so, where?

I'm no help you ladies, but I just wanted to say that you are lucky to have FIs that are willing to take lessions.  I can't even imagine the look I would have gotten if I suggested dance lessons!

We did- for super cheap!  If yo'ure willing to do the drive, you can get swing dance lessons in Ann Arbor on Friday or Wednesday nights for free!.  It will be a large group lesson, but the teachers are experienced.  They also usually run smaller group sessions for a few weeks at a time that are $5 each.  This is for swing dance lessons.  We took some lessons to learn the basics, then taught ourselves advanced moves by watching Youtube clips.  It was so much fun learning and making up our own first dance.  You should try it!!

Colleen- FI is actually a better dancer than me! I am the one that needs the lessons. lol.

Try The Ballroom Company in Maumee!  They do GREAT things there, and the classes are fun!

We did a big choreographed thing for our first dance (we're both in theater and I've danced my whole life so it was a pretty easy decision) and are still hearing things about it two years later.  We had one of our favorite theater choreographers do ours so we had a mashup of a bunch of different ballroom styles, which was fun.  I bet Ballroom Co. can do that for you!
