suggestions for pictures

Looking for suggestions for places we can go after the ceramony to get our pictures taken.  The wedding is in Perrysburg at St. Rose, and the reception is at The Hilton on Glendale Ave.
I just moved to Toledo in August, so I am not completly familiar with the area.  I do know that the Art Museum is a common place for pictures, but any other ideas would be great for me to give to my photographer.  She is not from this area, so she is asking me for suggestions!!!
TIA

I went downtown, but didn't go to a specific spot downtown.  We just used some cool backdrops that my photographer knew about.  My favorite was this brick wall with ivy on it. We were married in Pearson Park and also had several pictures taken in the park.

I would suggest looking into downtown as well, but look for specific staircases, church archways, train tracks, brick walls, part of the river, etc. that you think would be cool instead of just downtown in general.  Make a date out of it with your FI and eat at the docks after.

That shouldn't be a bad drive at all, but if you are looking at staying in Perrysburg, maybe Levis Commons has some photo opportunities?   There are likely some parks in that area that may be nice too.  I'm really not familiar with Perrysburg at all.

Also, consider your interests.  Are you and your FI University of Toledo alumni?  It might be cool to get pictures on campus.  Are you and your FI big bowlers?  Ask a bowling alley if you can use their lanes as a backdrop in some pictures?  Maybe you can take pictures at the place where your FI proposed?  Or the place of your first date? I'm just throwing idaes out there.

I think this area is nice as well.  However, it is on the opposite side of town.  I don't know how far you are willing to travel.

Sorry, I have a bad sense of direction and distance. :)

I like the downtown idea!  If you or your FI are baseball fans, you can get pics in front of the Mudhens stadium.  The water as a backdrop would be cool as well.

Sidecut park is a little closer to the area your going to be in.  There's also that area along the river in Perrysburg.  I'm not sure what it is exactly, but the main strip in Perrysburg dead ends into this spot.  There's a Fort Meigs (I think???) statue right there at the dead end and then grassy area, before the river.  That's another thought too, Fort Meigs is in Perrysburg too!  Your photographer should have some good ideas.

I like Levis Commons, they have pretty fountains, but I think you have to get permission to get photos there.

PPs had some good suggestions.  Sidecut is a great place for photos and is almost right in the middle of your two locations.   Downtown also has a lot of nice spots for more 'urban' shots, and isn't too far of a drive either.

We went to the Botanical Gardens and I love our outdoor pictures.  I'm not sure how far it would be from Perrysburg though.
