I'm DIYing my invitations and escort cards. Maybe my programs, too. Also, my bridesmaids and I are going to wear TOMS shoes at my wedding, so I will DIYing my shoes, too. I'm pretty excited about that one.

I may DIY a card box, too, because I could just take old shoe boxes and cover them to make them all pretty.

Oh, yes, we're also doing our own centerpieces. We're buying a lot of stuff from Libbey Glass Outlet, and we're also using save-on-crafts.com. And maybe some from Oriental Trading Company.

We've got a few DIY things planned so far:

1)My fiance is building me boxes to fill with  moss for escort cards to sit on top of or possibly stake into the moss.

2)We cut down a dead tree in our backyard and sliced them into wood slices for half of our centerpieces and one big one for our cake. We bought a wood burner to try and see if we can burn our initials on the wood slices.

3)Thinking of buying bird nests and attach wire to turn into table number holders.

4)Bought feathers and I'm going to try and make some feather fasincators for the BMs. We'll see how that goes! Could be really good or really awful!

We are going to do the invites, and programs, centerpieces, wishing tree, favors. My fiances aunt and a friend might do the food and my future father in law is going to make us our cupcake tower. Oh and I'm also going to make my own jewelry. :]

I am not really a DIY kind of person.  I would much rather pay someone to do it :)

I will be printing our escort cards.  I hope those are pretty easy.  I haven't tried them yet, but it says there is a program to follow.

My BM will be making our fan programs.

Our low centerpieces are pretty easy.  They are just vases with rocks in the bottom and floating candles.

And even though I bought our pocketfold invitations, I have to put them together and I will be making the belly bands.

Oh goodness, pretty much my entire wedding is DIY! lol. I'm a graphic designer so of course I'm doing all of the paper goods myself. I did the save the date's and had them printed through vistaprint and I'm currently working on the invitations. For my bouquet I'm doing a broach bouquet. (Made out of antique pins in pink and silver that i've gotten from ebay mostly) And my bridesmaids are going to have fabric flower bouquets made from lace, satin, etc. with a couple broaches in it to match mine. (I'm having a vintage theme, so it goes with it nicely.) The guys of course will have matching boutonierres. The centerpieces, I will be using the glass vases the venue provides but putting old pearl jewelry in them with a rose and a candle on top. I'm adding light pink tulle to my dress so that when I pick it up you will see it at the bottom. The ring pillow will be somewhat DIY. My mom bought it already but I'm adding stuff to it to make it a little different. I'll be adding rhinestones to my shoes which will light pink. And the decorations/flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception will all be DIY. Pretty much the only thing I can think of right now thats not DIY is the cake. lol. And I'm not sure about what I'm going to have as favors yet. That might be something I just buy premade since I have so much to do already. lol.
