You said you also used New Image Photography?

Were you happy with them?  Did they do all the shots you wanted?  Did you have to wait a long time to get your photos back?  Did they mail you the photos, or did you have to go pick them up at their office or something?

I requested Thank You cards as part of their package, and I'm a little nervous because I live in Colorado and I'm going back to Colorado two days after the wedding.  So I don't know if I'll get the pictures back in a reasonable time to do Thank You's since I cannot physically pick them up myself.

I was just wondering what your experience was like with them?

I had a great experience with them!!!!   I liked how honest & straightforward they were with everything, and I love that I got all of the images, with rights, as part of the package.  All of them (they did photo & video for me, so there were 5 guys with us on the wedding day!) were also very cool and easy to work with.

They didn't get quite all of the shots I had hoped they would, BUT I also didn't have those shots on a 'must have' list for them, so I can mostly put the blame for missing those on myself!!  Oops!

They had my proofs online SUPER quickly after the wedding, and the only delays thereafter were delays caused by me having trouble making my choices for the album, etc. because there were sooo many good photos to choose from!

We got Thank You cards from them and they came in quickly and were a huge hit - we got so many compliments on them!

Did you pick out pictures for the albums directly from the website or did you have to go down in-person to do this?

Planning a wedding 1200 miles a way is kind of hard and making me nervous. I think I will give them a call a few weeks before the wedding (I booked them in February and haven't spoken with them since! haha) to see if they can mail me the Thank You's and the album, and if I can pick out shots online instead of in-person.

If they can't mail it, I guess I'll have to send my mom over to pick them up and have her ship it to me.  She'd probably like that anyway, so she can see the pictures and show them to everyone before I take the album.

One more question... For your Thank You picture, did you make a sign that said "Thank You" or did they provide one?

I got the picture discs from them, made my choices by creating a new folder with the pictures I selected, and then burned those onto a disc to give back to them.   All of that could easily be mailed.

The actual album setup/proofing was all done online, as was choosing the picture for the Thank Yous.  

We did pick up our album, but having your mom do it and mail it to you seems like a great idea.

I'm sure you will have no trouble doing things long-distance with them - they're very flexible!

And our Thank You picture didn't actually say Thank You, we just used this picture on the front of the postcard and wrote our TY message on the back:
