Please help save my mental health!

Ok, so this isn't directly related to weddings, but it could be if it continues!

I'm writing here because it require local information. Does anyone know of a good family counseling center in NW Ohio? My BF and his mother have some serious issues that are starting to affect our relationship and he's willing to go to counseling to help get over issues with guilt, that she puts on him daily, to be able to establish proper boundaries with her as far as her having her own life and us having ours.

I'm afraid that it will just keep getting worse and might potentially make a mess of future wedding planning/having children.

ugh, the joy of family drama. I googled family counseling in Toledo and there were quite a few that came up. There are christian counselors as well as counseling centers. I hope everything works out for him and his mom. Using guilt to manipultae someone is always a recipe for disaster. I hope your BF gets the courage to stand up to his mother and encourage her to live her own life. Good luck, elannis

Thanks! I'll try google and research some places.

I hope things get straightened out too. I can see that he wants to establish boundaries but the guilt keeps him from doing so. He needs professional guidance in this case.
