Getting in Shape

New to the board

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this board but with 5 months left to my wedding I'm really trying to get my butt in gear! My goal is a 20lbs weight loss with toning all over. Does anyone have any good tips for jump starting metabolism and toning up areas such as core, thighs, chest and back? I also know nothing about counting calories or amount of calories I should be eating.....is there any way to ease into this hahaha?
