17 Day Diet

Hey all! I'm on the 17 Day Diet, just finished up the first cycle, day 9. So far, I've lost 11 lbs! A majority of it is water weight, but my tummy is flatter which is enough motivation to keep it moving!

Anyone else doing this diet? Where are you at and what results do you have so far?

Overall, I'm looking to lose about 35-40 lbs...so...29 lbs more to go! Wedding is June 22, 2013!

Re: 17 Day Diet

  • Are you planning to keep the 35-40 lbs off? Because that won't happen from the 17 day diet. It's not sustainable.

This diet gets a lot of criticism - and I think rightfully so. I tried this diet last year and lasted about 10 days before I threw in the towel. It was way too restrictive of foods your body really needs! Like mbody said if you aren't going to eat like this forever, unfortunately all the weight will come back.

  • Well we should support our fellow bride! Shes losing weight, good for you! If, indeed, the weight doesn't stay off or it is unhealthy I hope you continue to be motivated and try something else to find something that works for you. But regardless, congratulations on losing weight.
