How many sparklers?

Ok so I'm going to buy sparklers today for our grand exit after the reception.  How many do I buy?  We're expecting 150 guests, but not all of them will stick around until the end.

Just to give you an idea of our reception plans; We will get to the reception at around 7:00 pm and dinner will be served.  The grand exit will be around 9:30.  There is no alcohol, so I'm sure that will also determine how many people stick around.

Thanks for your help before I go buy sparklers.

I say buy between 70 or 80, which may still be too many. Look at your guest list and determine how many people you KNOW will be gone by exit time (i.e. older ones, people with kiddos) That may give you a better idea of how many you'll need. HTH!

I ordered 200 sparklers and still have quite a few left if you are interested in buying them.  I think only 50 were used but I can find out for sure.  My parents have the box at their house and they are gold, 36" sparklers.  You are right, our departure time was 10pm  and even though we had alcohol, alot of people do not stick around, mostly ederly, etc.  Feel free to email me at ewellstcu1999@yahoo.com if you want.

I Agree, About half the guest count and you should be just fine. You may have some left over (as most of us do), but that is better than being short, IMO.

We bought 200. We figured that ppl could have 2 and the kids would want to do more than 2.
