Runners' Headphones

Ok, runners. What headphones to you use? My ear buds keep falling out of my ears when sweat drips into them (I know, TMI) but it's frustrating to keep sticking them back in! Any suggestions?

I use earbuds and they are obnoxious.  I constantly find myself taking them out and then using my shirt to wipe the sweat out of my ears.

Something like these might be worth looking into:

They have the ear bud but also support since it "clips" over your ear.  I haven't tried this type and knowing my ears, they will probably bother me but you should check them out!
  • I have tiny little ears, and I've tried tons of different kinds of headphones (SkullCandy, those marshmallow ones, the ones that wrap around your ear) and the only ones that work consistently for me are the white Apple earbuds that come with your iPod.

  • Second the SkullCandy.  I actually spent like $160 on SHURE headphones in the Apple store, and don't love them near as much as the SkullCandy

These are the ones I love. And they come with differnt sized wrap around parts and squishy things so you can find one that fits.

  • I have custom earphones that I had made for my ears.  I am an audiologist and its something I offer my patients as well.   You can have an impression taken of your ear and you get these custom fit ear pieces that your own earbud headphones will fit into.  They will probably run you around $150, call any of your local hearing centers to see if they offer them.
